What are the Mortal Shell II PC requirements?

Steam publishes one minimum specification block for Mortal Shell II: Windows 10 or 11, a listed Core i7 or Ryzen 5 processor, 16 GB RAM, an 8 GB RTX 2060 SUPER or RX 6600, DirectX 12, 70 GB available space, and an SSD.

This is a transcription of the live US-English Steam app data, not an independently estimated hardware target.

What are the minimum PC specifications?

The minimum CPU is an Intel Core i7-10700K at 3.8 GHz or better, or an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 at 3.6 GHz or better. The table above preserves the other required components without turning this processor comparison into a separate performance target.

“Or better” is part of Steam’s processor wording. The listing does not explain how to compare every newer or mobile CPU, so a model name alone is not a guarantee of matching real game performance.

Steam publishes no recommended specification block for Mortal Shell II as of August 22, 2026. It also gives no official resolution, frame-rate, graphics-preset, upscaler, ray-tracing, or handheld performance target that this guide could safely attach to the minimum hardware.

How much storage space do you need?

You need at least 70 GB of available storage on an SSD according to Steam. Because the listing says “available space,” leave room for the installed game plus normal download, unpacking, save, shader-cache, and patch activity rather than filling the drive to its limit.

The extra headroom is practical setup advice, not a second official capacity figure. Steam publishes 70 GB and explicitly requires an SSD.

What should you check before buying on PC?

Before buying, compare every row in the minimum table rather than checking only the graphics card, then recheck the live Steam requirements in case they changed. Pay particular attention to exact desktop-versus-laptop model differences and the SSD requirement.

  • Check whether a laptop GPU or CPU is the same class as the desktop model named by Steam; a similar name does not prove equal performance.
  • Do not infer a target resolution or frame rate from the minimum block.
  • Do not assume Steam Deck or another handheld is verified unless its live store compatibility information says so.
  • Review the release date, platforms, and price, then use the beginner guide after installation.

The specification table was checked August 22, 2026 against Steam’s direct US-English app-details response and the live store page. The API supplied a minimum block and no recommended block; this page does not invent missing performance targets.
